After building momentum in Atlanta's indie scene, Shawn Mullins broke through with 1998's Soul's Core, featuring the Grammy-nominated No. 1 hit "Lullaby." He followed with "Beautiful Wreck," an AAA/Americana chart-topper from 9th Ward Pickin' Parlor.
