Jason Palmer is a renowned trumpeter, composer, and educator who has performed with jazz legends like Roy Haynes, Wynton Marsalis, and Kurt Rosenwinkel. A Boston resident for over 20 years, he has been awarded multiple fellowships, including from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the French American Cultural Exchange. Palmer has recorded 16 albums as a bandleader, received critical acclaim, and toured globally with artists such as Mark Turner and Grace Kelly. He was a longtime member of Boston's Wally's Jazz Cafe house band and has performed at major jazz festivals. As an educator, Palmer teaches at Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, and Arizona State University. He has also been an influential figure in jazz advocacy through his work with JazzBoston. Palmer was featured in the film Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench and has been recognized as one of jazz's top trumpet talents.
