Jontavious Willis is a Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter on a mission to bring the timeless spirit of traditional Blues to the modern world. With roots in rural Georgia, Jontavious blends Delta, Piedmont, Texas, and Gospel Blues into his unique sound, delivering dynamic vocals and technical guitar prowess. His passion for Blues began at age 14, and his career skyrocketed after Taj Mahal dubbed him his 'Wonderboy' in 2015. Jontavious's debut album, Blue Metamorphosis (2016), won the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge Award for Best Self-Produced CD, while his sophomore release, Spectacular Class, earned a Grammy nomination. He's set to release a new album in 2025 with Strolling Bones Records, continuing his journey to reinvigorate the Blues. As a sought-after performer, Jontavious lights up stages globally, infusing traditional Blues with fresh energy.
