Dave Specter, with 40 years on the Chicago music scene and performances in 19 countries, just released his 14th album, Live at SPACE on Delmark Records. He appears on over 50 albums as a guitarist, bandleader and/or producer including compilation recordings with Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Eric Clapton and Mike Bloomfield.Downbeat magazine calls Dave one of the few top-tier guitarists and the Chicago Sun Times calls Dave a global ambassador of Chicago Blues.Daves unique guitar style combines elements of Chicago blues with influences ranging from Magic Sam, Buddy Guy and Otis Rush to the Texas/West Coast styles of T-Bone Walker, Gatemouth Brown and the Vaughan brothers.Hell be joined at SPACE by Brother John Kattke on vocals/keys, Rodrigo Mantovani on bass and Marty Binder on drums.Brother John Kattke whos toured extensively with artists such as Buddy Guy, Otis Rush and Koko Taylor, is one of the MVPs of the Chicago blues scene. He also leads one of the house bands at Buddy Guys Legends.
