Since 2019, alongside collaborators Jeff Tobias and Jim Wallis, they have released two critically acclaimed albums and a host of other material that includes an instrumental album, a short record called Annual and four cassettes of improvised music. Their next album No Fixed Point In Space is due in autumn 2023 on Bella Union Records.His notated music has been performed by the UK based chamber group Apartment House, at Fouroneone in New York and recordings of his pieces Tributaries and Arrival were released on the U.S. label Astral Spirits. He is a member of the psych pop group Tomten and also performs as a touring keyboardist for San Francisco band Papercuts. Influenced by the likes of Nick Drake, John Cale, The Clientele and Bridget St. John, Noyes self-titled debut album is a well-crafted collection of psych-tinged baroque-pop. With a warm and dreamy sound, the album showcases instruments such as Mellotron, piano, nylon string guitar, synths, flute, sax, violin, and cello. - KEXP Noyes worked with producer Jason Quever (Papercuts, Cass McCombs, and Beach House) in Los Angeles and with Andy Meyer and Nicholas Wilbur at The Unknown in Anacortes, Washington.
