Winston Foster, better known as Yellowman, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist born on January 15, 1956, in Kingston, Jamaica. He is known for his energetic live performances, distinctive voice, and hits like Zungguzungguguzungguzeng and Them a Mad Over Me.Yellowman was born with albinism, which has been a significant aspect of his public image. He was abandoned as a child and grew up in a Catholic orphanage. He began his music career in the late 1970s, performing in local talent shows and eventually recording his debut single, Them a Mad Over Me, in 1979.Yellowman gained popularity in the early 1980s with his unique style, which blended reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop. His music often focuses on social issues, love, and self-empowerment.
