Back from the dead in every sense of the term. The always scrappy southern metal outfitMaylene and the Sons of Disaster are releasing their first song in over 11 years. In 2016frontmanDallas Taylor was involved in a near fatal ATV accident that broker every bone in hisface resulting in brain damage. It was hard to imagine Taylor would live let alone sing again.Dallas spent the last 6 years patiently rehabilitating himself. Needing acreative outlet, musicstarted being written with no intended purpose other than artistic expression. Supported byMaylenes final touring line-up of Jasin Todd and Steve Savas on guitar, Jon Longley on drums, and Brad Lehmann on bass and banjo, Burn theWitches was meticulously crafted. The song isdirectly about Taylors accident and contemplation he felt in that moment. The lyrics are not adime store lesson in transcendence, but a brutal account of the most pain you can endurewithout shuffling off this mortal coil. Produced by Brad Lehmann and mixed and mastered bySleepwave guitarist Stephen Bowman, the song fully represents a band that is creativelyuntethered and push moshing against genre walls. Now sporting an eye-patch and an axe togrind, Taylor and Co. are back and from what can be determined are impossible to kill.18+ with VALID ID NO ID = NO ENTRYNO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKNO BACKPACKS OR LARGE BAGS
