In line with stellar 2023 beginnings, as they stacked Ones to Watch lists by the likes of Matt Wilkinson at Apple Music 1, Vogue, NME and the Daily Telegraph, performed nationally across Australias Groovin the Moo Festival, supported alt-Js Australian tour, and were named Spotifys RADAR Artist, Royel Otis unleashed their much-hyped Sofa Kings EP. Including acclaimed singles Kool Aid, Sofa King, I Wanna Dance With You and Going Kokomo, the progressive, sunny alt-pop EP received international and local press adoration from Paper Mag, Purple Sneakers, NME and consistent airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Apple Music 1, additions to SiriusXM Alt Nation s #1 Most Played track for 8 days in a row. In July 2023, they will embark on their fully sold out Australian tour before hitting the UK/EU, performing globally recognised festivals including Reading & Leeds and ending the Sofa Kings tour in the US.
