The Great Escape Spotlight Shows are special standalone gigs that we believe deserve to be highlighted within our programme. After nearly a decade away, Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule – better known as Rizzle Kicks – return, older, wiser but no less capable of making a summer hit, as recent comeback track ‘Javelin’ shows. Coming to prominence in the early ‘10s with ‘Down With The Trumpets’ and a Number One feature on Olly Murs’ ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ – plus two Top Five albums (‘Stereo Typical’ and ‘Roaring 20s’) – it’s the perfect year for the duo to make their return. As they told NME: “We wanted this first moment to really capture the public and show what we represent, which is fun and joy.”
