With roots stretching back to the golden days of sound system culture, his catalogue overflows with beloved gems like “Strong Love”, “Red Eyes” and “Sugar Love”. Sharing the spotlight is the inimitable Sandra Cross, whose velvet delivery on “I Adore You”, “You’re Lying” and “Holding You Close” helped define a generation of UK reggae. Her album Country Life was a No.1 on the British Reggae Charts and remains a go-to for connoisseurs of sweet, soul-steeped rhythm. Often referred to as “the first lady of lovers rock”, her voice carries both warmth and weight, love and liberation.
