Grupo CAÑAVERAL, one of the most important cumbia groups in Mexico, was founded in 1995. It was formed to highlight the roots of a genre that filled them with pride. Today, Mr. Humberto Pabón Olivares, together with his son?singer-songwriter, music producer, and host Emir Pabón?make up the group that has reinvented and innovated cumbia. They have enriched it through collaborations with beloved artists from across the continent, successfully positioning themselves as one of the most representative tropical music groups.
