The Brazilian musical trio Gilsons began in 2018. Francisco, João, and José Gil are respectively the sons and grandsons of the legendary Gilberto Gil. The band blends pop rock, samba, rap and Bahian rhythms, but draws particular inspiration from the classic MPB sound that is theirs - and Brazil's - musical heritage.
