His first solo album of all new material in 18 years, The Other Side finds the Grammy- and Oscar-winning composer, producer, and songwriter at his best, featuring some of the richest vocals of Burnett’s entire career. The 12 songs on the new album, described as “the most honest reflection of himself he’s ever made (Mojo), “supremely inviting, warm and ruefully radiant” and “a crown on a career still going strong” (Uncut), reflect a new outlook and approach, featuring collaborations with newer artists Lucius and Weyes Blood and old friends and longtime trusted musical companions including Rosanne Cash, Steven Soles, Dennis Crouch, Stuart Duncan, Jay Bellerose, and Rory Hoffman.
