**Jake Blount + Mali Obomsawin** Jake has a new collaborative project in the works with bass player Mali Obomsawin (Abanaki Nation artist, formerly of Lula Wiles), and they have a new album coming out on Smithsonian Folkways entitled 'Symbiont', (SNEAK PEEK HERE) that is a uniquely modern look at the cross section of indigenous and African American roots music and how they are effected by the trials of the current political climate. They'll be touring behind it this Fall with a trio.
