Ben Lamar Gay is a composer, poet, and artist. His work has received international acclaim for its radical approach to sound. He bends electronics and percussion to his will to make truly beautiful and earth-shattering music. Heavy Tiny is the new project of Chicago cellist Lia Kohl and her partner Nick Meryhew. The two have collaborated on a variety of video art pieces but now they have joined forces for a sample-based electronic project. The samples draw from various acoustic sources such as Kohl's cello as well as more electric sounds coming from synths and drum machines. Sun Picture is the experimental ambient project of Carlos Lowenstein. Although Lowenstein started his electronic exploration later in life the project is in no way lacking in creativity or wonder. His music often finds a perfect balance between IDM drums and ambient landscapes.
