**Bambina, WTRGRL, Shana Sarett** **DJ set by Dweez & Dan Streit** Blending masterful dream pop musicianship and a vulnerable sense of humor into an artistic style entirely her own, **Bambina** is the persona of singer/songwriter, musician, actor, and director Andrea Adolph. San Francisco native and rising indie pop princess of east LA, **Shana Sarett** is a force to be reckoned with. As a former opera singer and full time DJ, her original music has a deeply informed sound. You can hear her wide array of influences, as well as see it in her live shows which are comprised of contemporary dancers as well as instrumentalists. Shana has been performing her dynamic show since July 2022, where she debuted to a full house. Since then she has played venues across LA and NYC, most recently making her festival debut at the legendary Freakout Fest in Seattle. Shana has much more music on the horizon and is excited to bring her brand of whimsical nostalgia to the masses. “That’s perhaps Sarett’s most precious gift: by virtue of her long experience in the field, she’s able to deliver material that’s never obvious, clichès-free, while pursuing an authentic and personal style that says a lot about the nuanced and refined artistry so gloriously championed by the Californian newcomer.” — Gabriel Mazza, Mesmerized Music **WTRGRL** is the alias of Chloe Saavedra. From age 5, Chloe began playing drums and formed a group with her sister Asy called Smoosh, which gained notoriety in the early 2000s. The sisters released three albums to critical acclaim, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and toured the world with the likes of; Pearl Jam, Bloc Party, and Death Cab for Cutie. In 2013 the sisters changed their band name to Chaos Chaos and released two records with over 120 million streams on Spotify alone. The sisters took a hiatus from the band in 2020 and Chloe began working as a session drummer and vocalist for many artists including Eartheater and Caroline Polachek. In between tours she launched her first self fronted project as WTRGRL. WTRGRL is an emotionally driven rendering of experimental pop, blending indie and grunge vocal styles, modern granular synthesis, and early 2000s drum production which draws inspiration from Chloe’s idols, Timbaland and Aphex Twin. Chloe collaborates with producers, Zhone, Clearcast, Tony Seltzer, BABii, Holly Waxwing, and Death’s Dynamic Shroud on her material which will be featured on her first full length, Drïpsody, set to be released in February, 2024
