The Roof Dogs are a Chicago, IL rock band formed by songwriters and guitarists Andrew Marczak and Jesse Cheshire. Joined on bass by Sean Maher and with Jack Brereton on drums, the group has established themselves with their special blend of new wave, post-punk, and classic alternative rock sounds. While drawing from a wide swath of rock’s rich pantheon, the band maintains their own distinct personality and style in large part due to the idiosyncratic songwriting of Cheshire and Marczak combining with Maher and Brereton’s groove-infused rhythm section. Chicago Nostalgia rock trio Disaster Kid finds reflection at the core of their music.
