Silvan Shine’s (Keith Manda) music is composed of self-reflective lyrics accompanied by folky acoustic rhythm guitars, spaced-out organs, layers of mellotrons and throwback harmonies. It’s as if you found a Beatles record that they’d recorded in Twin Peaks. The Laurel Canyon-based singer-songwriter draws inspiration from numerous sources: from songwriters like Father John Misty, Weyes Blood, John Lennon and Elliott Smith, to directors like David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick, to composers like Angelo Badalamenti and Bernard Herrmann. With two EP’s under his belt, he’s currently writing new songs and looking to play more shows. This is a 21+ event
