Since forming in 2016, Wombo have crafted 2 LPs and 3 extended plays that twist post-punk structures into uncanny shapes, toured around the world, and gained praise from Pitchfork, The Fader, CLASH, and more.Drawing inspiration from invented fantasies as much as realitys own absurdities, the subtle surrealism (FLOOD) of Wombos take on indie rock is often thrilling, always fresh, and ever-so catchy. Their distinct combination of droning guitars, frenetic chords, and angular melodies (UPROXX) have earned Wombo a dedicated fanbase, eager to see which direction the trio heads next.
